I trained as a yoga teacher because of the menopause. I wanted to actively do something holistically for my body but also my mental well-being. I was the oldest in the class but determined that yoga could help me get back to how I felt before. The determination and how I felt in myself meant I eventually qualified. I had no intention of teaching but then felt that yoga had such beneficial results for myself that I would try and help others. Everyone who came to my class was in the range of 45-70yrs old and all learnt yoga some as beginners and benefited in differing ways.
